The Turbosmart GenV PowerGate60 External Wastegate is a motorsport-proven, ultra-high-flow 60 mm wastegate engineered for applications requiring maximum exhaust bypass capacity and precise boost control. As the largest wastegate in the Turbosmart GenV range—and the highest-flowing poppet-style wastegate of its kind—the PowerGate60 is designed for extreme power levels, high exhaust volume, and sustained high-boost operation.
Built on Turbosmart’s fifth-generation GenV platform, the PowerGate60 is the result of a complete ground-up redesign. Aside from the mounting orientation, every component has been re-engineered using CFD optimization and in-house flow bench validation to improve flow efficiency, reduce turbulence, and enhance thermal and fatigue performance well beyond previous generations.
The modular GenV architecture provides exceptional installation flexibility. The actuator base and cap can be independently clocked, allowing full 360-degree orientation to accommodate tight engine bays without compromising reference hose routing or service access. Actuators are interchangeable across the GenV range, making the PowerGate60 adaptable to a wide range of packaging requirements and future upgrade paths. Optional liquid actuator cooling is available for applications exposed to extreme exhaust temperatures.
Constructed from a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body and featuring a Nitronic 60 valve guide, the PowerGate60 is built to withstand severe thermal loads while maintaining precise, repeatable valve control. A high-quality diaphragm design ensures linear valve movement and consistent boost regulation across the operating range, improving response and stability regardless of spring configuration.
Each PowerGate60 is supplied with a full spring kit for boost pressure tuning and features 1/8" NPT reference ports for fast, responsive boost signal control.
