The OBD2 Non-EPA series brings G-Sport construction to builds that don't need emissions paperwork: race and trail vehicles, kit cars, and street vehicles from 1973 and older that never came with a factory converter. Each unit carries the same 300 CPSI S-Wound metallic core, furnace-brazed and Double-Lock canned in stainless steel, with a lighter catalyst loading — meaningful exhaust cleanup and tamed smell at a motorsport-friendly price. These converters reduce regulated emissions to a lesser degree than the EPA-compliant line, are not EPA compliant, and cannot assure check-engine-light elimination; for street vehicles that must pass emissions, use the Gen1 (1996–2016) or Gen2 (2017+) EPA-compliant series instead.
