The DOC series is the diesel side of the G-Sport line. Unlike the three-way catalysts used on gas engines, a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst is built for lean diesel exhaust: its precious-metal coating oxidizes carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons — the compounds behind diesel smoke smell and haze — into carbon dioxide and water. On a custom or competition diesel that has shed its factory aftertreatment, a DOC delivers a noticeable cleanup in odor and visible emissions with minimal restriction, built on a 200 CPSI S-Wound metallic core in stainless steel. Three sizes cover most builds: 2.500" and 3.000" inlet/outlet in the standard 4.000" body, and a 6.000"-body unit with maximum substrate area for hard-working trucks. Not EPA compliant — for custom and motorsport diesel applications where compliance is not required.
