The Turbosmart GenV HyperGate45 External Wastegate is a motorsport-proven, high-flow 45 mm wastegate engineered for precise and stable boost control in high-output turbocharged applications. Designed as the highest-flowing wastegate in its class, the GenV HyperGate45 delivers exceptional exhaust bypass capacity, advanced thermal management, and long-term durability for demanding street, track, and race environments.
As part of Turbosmart’s fifth-generation external wastegate lineup, the GenV series represents a complete ground-up redesign. Aside from the mounting orientation, every component has been re-engineered using CFD optimization and in-house flow bench validation to improve flow efficiency, thermal stability, and fatigue resistance beyond previous generations.
The modular GenV design provides unmatched installation flexibility. The actuator base and cap can be independently clocked, allowing full 360-degree orientation to accommodate tight engine bays without compromising reference hose routing or service access. Actuators are interchangeable across the GenV range, enabling builders to tailor the wastegate configuration to specific space constraints or upgrade paths.
Built from a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body with a Nitronic 60 valve guide, the HyperGate45 is designed to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures and sustained boost pressure. A linear diaphragm design ensures consistent valve control across the operating range, improving response and boost stability regardless of spring selection or pressure ratio. Optional liquid actuator cooling ports further enhance thermal performance in the most demanding applications.
Each HyperGate45 is supplied with a full spring kit for boost pressure tuning and features 1/8" NPT reference ports for fast, responsive boost signal control.
