The GenV Electronic HyperGate45 is Turbosmart’s 45mm fully electronic external wastegate, built on the proven GenV HyperGate45 platform and designed for applications that demand precise, repeatable boost control. By replacing traditional pneumatic actuation with a fully electronic system, the HyperGate45 eWG removes many of the mechanical limitations associated with springs, hoses, and boost reference lines.
Based on Turbosmart’s established GenV wastegate body, the Electronic HyperGate45 maintains the same mounting orientation and flange compatibility as the pneumatic HyperGate45, making it suitable for new builds or upgrades where existing manifold and outlet hardware are already in place. The underlying GenV architecture delivers high flow capacity and excellent thermal stability, while the electronic actuator enables direct control through your ECU or external controller.
With no internal springs or boost reference plumbing, boost pressure is no longer constrained by base spring pressure or heat-related hose issues. When paired with a capable control strategy and sufficient exhaust energy, boost targets can be set across a wide operating range directly through your tuning interface. Control is handled via a dual half-bridge output, similar to electronic throttle body control, allowing advanced strategies limited only by the ECU or controller in use.
For systems without a spare dual half-bridge output, Turbosmart offers a dedicated electronic wastegate controller solution to provide full functionality without compromising control capability.
