The Turbosmart GenV CompGate40 External Wastegate is a motorsport-proven, high-flow solution engineered to deliver precise and reliable boost control in demanding turbocharged applications. As the highest-flowing wastegate in its class, the GenV CompGate40 combines advanced thermal management, fatigue resistance, and extensive user configurability for long-term performance and durability.
Designed as a ground-up evolution of Turbosmart’s proven external wastegate platform, the GenV series retains only the mounting orientation from the previous generation. Every other aspect has been redesigned using CFD optimization and in-house flow bench validation to maximize exhaust flow, improve thermal stability, and enhance overall boost control accuracy.
The modular GenV design provides exceptional flexibility during installation. The actuator base and cap can be independently indexed, enabling full 360-degree orientation to suit tight packaging constraints without compromising hose routing or service access. Actuators are interchangeable across the GenV range, allowing builders to tailor the wastegate configuration to their specific space and performance requirements.
Constructed from a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body with a Nitronic 60 valve guide, the CompGate40 is built to withstand extreme exhaust heat and sustained motorsport use. A linear diaphragm design ensures consistent valve control across the entire operating range, while optional liquid cooling ports provide additional thermal management for the most demanding applications.
Each wastegate is supplied with a full spring kit for boost pressure tuning and includes 1/8" NPT reference ports for fast, responsive boost signal control.
